This post has been a long time coming. I have already told alot of you about the excursion me and my friend (boss), Rhonda went on to Atlanta but I promised pictures so I'll tell you about it again, lol. We had learned about this place in Atlanta called Sips N Strokes. Its a place to let you creative mojo run free! You check out their calendar, pick a painting you like, sign up, show up, and paint! We picked a kind of funky vase painting. We didn't really care what we were painting. We were there for the experience and were contemplating adding something like it to her Fabulous Finishes business. The sips part of the name stands for drinks. Its kind of a bring your own snacks and beverages sort of thing. The strokes, obviously, is for the paint strokes.So when we got there we were so excited! We walked in and the walls and floors are black and are covered with art. A few of the walls had white triangles painted on them for people to sign their names. There was a great vibe in the room! There was really upbeat music playing. It was just a really fun atmosphere!

There were alot of people there! I would guess 50-60 people. The lady in the yellow and the lady in the purple sat beside us. They were super nice! They even took a pic for us.

The lady teaching the class was super cool! She kept it really fun! Everyones paintings looked different even though we were all painting the same picture. It was all in the way you saw it. If you think you could never do anything like this, you are sooo wrong! I thought there was no way I could do it and I did. I had an awesome time and am very excited that we are going to be adding this to her business. So if your local (to me) you will have to come by and give it a try. You will love it! So I guess I should post my before and after pictures huh? Here ya go!
